Muslims opinion on Padmavat Movie

"Padmavat" the name itself defines a movie struck in the tsunami of controversies. At first being open minded everyone might think its just a movie and should be treated as one. But, this world is neither fair enough to think only good people live in it nor everyone has good intentions towards others. As one watches the movie he comes out with at least some hiccup kind of uncomfortable feeling. Be it Rajputs or Muslims. As the movie on one hand shows how brave rajputs are but still loose in the hands of tyrant ruler at the same Muslim ruler wins the war but the ruler is cruel and tyrant for his public.

The first person that gets in anyone's mind before deciding to watch the movie is none other than the cunning human Mr.Bhansali undoubtedly he is one the finest directors India has ever witnessed but does he has to show one sect of people great and the other as the hated one?  right at the time when India is going through religious extremism at all time high? Ever wondered why he has to try a fiction which again was written without any proven facts? Definately he is upto something which he wants to hide by all the charisma he shows in his movies but just as truth comes with time, people clearly understand his intentions in the movie.
If it was for creating a great movie he could have choosen any great story and add his creativity to it. If it was any other great director like Raja Mouli he would have happily created a fairy tale or even a real story based on Ashoka or Veer Pratap Singh or Quli Qutub Shah and add his artistry to it but Bhansali didnt! He choosed the story which he knew from the beginning that it will hurt the religious feeling of someone or the other!
Reality of Padmavati According to Wikipedia and other trusted encyclopedia Websites

Padmavat or Padmini is a Sri Lankan (Singhal) Princess and the daughter of Gandharvsena who followed budhism as their birth religion. Malik Jayasi who wrote this thanksgiving poem (thanks to him for making things worst to our generation of people) is the poet of 1504 AD almost 2 centuries after Ala uddin Khalji ruled and died not knowing what chaos he created for 21st century people described Padmavat's beauty in such a way that Raja Ratan Sen the ruler of Chittor Fort heard about her beauty from a talking Parrot and went to Singhal, got her along after marrying her in Singhal iteself. The irony is he described that Ratan Singh dies in the dual with Devpal, the knig of Kumbhalnar, who was also enamoured with the beauty of Padmavati. Here we can see that Padmavat was Jain or Budhist by birth but dies as Rajput Paperforming Jauhar. The fiction was refictionised to make the present movie as the movie shows Alauddin Khalji the ruler of Delhi Sultanate kills Ratan Sen in dual by cheating in the fight and comes to knwo about Padmavat through a banished monk who takes revenge of his pride by bringing down the chittor itself.
Real History of Ala uddin Khalji and his portrayal in the movie

Ala uddin Khalji was one of the most powerful rulers of Khalji dynasty who ruled the Delhi Sultanate and dreamed of becoming the second Alaxender. He became the Sultan by raiding Devagiri and staging a successful revolt against Jalaluddin his father in law. He successfully fought with Mongol invasions on India multiple times. Those Mongols who brought great nations like Iraq and Iran on knees  but these Mongols werent able to stand against Alauddin's might. Due to illness he appoints Malik Kaffur a captured eunuch during the Gujarat raid. Critics state that Alauddin and Malik had a homosexual relationship but the same amount of critics also prove that it wasnt that way at all
Movie and its Reality
Without any doubt the movie is a huge success and will receive even more success in the upcoming future but its ironic as some Rajputs rallied that their Queen (who is actually Sril Lankan both in poem and movie) Padmini was shown in a wrong way and history was manipulated but in reality it should have happened that Muslims might  have had a problem with the movie as one of the greatest rulers of their sect was shown bad intentionally a cruel person but all this happened in a wrong direction Bhansali received backlash in a way he might not have imagined in his wildest dreams. Rajputs sects wanted the movie to bring down whereas Muslims stood silent on this matter
The movie srarts clearly stating that it is based on fictional poem written by Malik Jayasi but at the end of Movie the Queen is praised for the Jauhar she does and say that her greatness lives still today as if it was a real story. if it was fiction then this kind of ending is not shown the movie started as a fictional interpretation and ends gloryfying Padmavat as if its a real story. Doing both things it was like leaving the audience for whatever opinion they created is their wish.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Ideology
What does Bhansali really wants to propagate in his films? is it that Muslim rulers were tyrants and Hindu rulers were wariors and went unnoticed and thats why he is making films on them?
Though its an unchangeable fact that Moghals or other Muslim rulers made huge geographical and architectural contribution to the country.
In Bajirao Mastani he showed that Bajirao hates moghals and their rulers and in this movie Alauddin Khalji was shown as a tyrant and glorified Rajput sect of people. Queen Mehrunnisa's goodness was added to show not everyone in the khalji's were bad but it didnt count in her character was so little to notice.
Conclusion

As per our conclusion Indian Directors should focus on stories which can unite both religion be it a fiction base or a reality based movie. People as well should do their own study while saying something out of hate, anger. India needs to unite now more than ever and movies like this only create difference and divide people on the basis of useless pride and false religious pride which the religion itself never encourages to show.
